L’ATLAS

A mountain range in the northern part of the country offering incredibly rich landscapes. The Atlas has important national parks such as Toubkal, or Souss-Massa which will put you in the heart of pure nature to meet the Berber tribes. . Stretching over 2,500 km, the Atlas Mountains are the highest range in North Africa.

Berber culture

Lots of traditional Berber villages to discover are installed in the rocky valleys. These ancient populations reflect the history of a bygone era.

Todra Gorges

These cliffs provide a magnificent view of the rocky peaks of the Jebel Sahro mountain range where water streams along the valley floor.

Toubkal

This summit is the highest point in North Africa with breathtaking panoramic views over the plains of Marrakech and the Sahara desert. The inhabitants of the region are known for their barley, wheat, olive and fig crops and their unique mountain way of life.
Get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and explore the verdant Atlas that stretches through the valleys. A perfect break to admire the panoramic view of the sparkling blue waters of Lake Lalla Takerkoust and enjoy the peppery scents of juniper and pine. Pleasant hiking trails, oases and fields of culture exist: the valley of roses, Taza, Boumalne, the waterfalls of Ouzoud and Azilal, Tinghir… And much more.
