Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the health situation in Morocco has always represented a low rate of critical cases.
The Moroccan authorities classify the provinces / prefectures of Morocco into two zones depending on the pandemic situation in each province / prefecture. The categorization of prefectures / provinces may change in the short term, and if a large number of new COVID-19 cases are detected in a city / prefecture / province, local restrictions can be applied immediately.
As part of the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, Morocco ensures the application of the health measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the safety and health of all citizens and tourists.
